Paul Czorny of Smiths says the following of their sponsorship of The BLOODHOUND Project  "Smiths High Performance are proud to be a part of the Bloodhound programme.  We have been supplying materials from the start of the project.

We have evolved as a key product supplier supplying high performance Steels, Aluminium and Titanium materials for many applications on the car.

 

During 2013 we had the show car on site and we were able to involve many local schools and our key customers in the Bloodhound project. It really sparked interest not only from our customers but the town Smiths is situated (Biggleswade) we also had visits from Radio stations and local news which really highlighted Smiths as a company.  The school children were able to interact with the team from Bloodhound to give them a better understanding of the car and Bloodhound's philosophy of engineering along with their goals of getting people back into engineering. The children of today are our Engineers of tomorrow!
