The BLOODHOUND Project has a new HQ in Bristolʼs docklands, right next door to SS Great Britain. The BLOODHOUND Technical Centre is where BLOODHOUND SSC will be constructed.

Engineering Director John Piper and his design team have been fortunate enough to have some fantastic support from the University of the West of England and have been acommodated on campus at UWE for the last 18 months. For the past 6 months, the mock-up and the Show Car have been also been housed in the RAMP Lab there too.

But as the project moves into the next phase, a new home was needed.

The competition for the build site was tight, with 4 locations in the running. After much debating, the Bristol location was chosen by the team.

Where is the BLOODHOUND Technical Centre?

What does it look like?

It was formerly the Maritime Heritage Centre, which is now been emptied and fitted out ready for the BLOODHOUND team to move in

The building is a modern brick-built construction.

There is plenty of space around it for seating, and a car park just across the road
