The BLOODHOUND team made a stunning appearance at the Big Bang Science Fair at Manchester Central.
What an exciting place to be - lots of activities for the visiting school parties; plenty of things to do, lots of noises - you can even have a go at welding chocolate!
The BLOODHOUND team were there, ably supported by STEM Ambassadors. The balloon car proved very popular again and the BLOODHOUND activity table was soon a thriving production line!
During the first day, we had some VIP visitors having a look round and asking some very detailed questions - see picture right, Nick Chapman explaining about BLOODHOUND SSC's wheels to HRH Duke of Kent and Sir Anthony Cleaver, chairman of Engineering UK.
Primary Engineer's interactive whiteboard also proved very popular, and there was intense competition between team members to put together the pieces of the BLOODHOUND SSC picure in the fastest time!
