The Bloodhound Project The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing

The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing

BINDT is proud to have sponsored the Bloodhound Project since 2015 and wishes the Team all the best as we rapidly approach a fascinating climax to this awesome achievement that also represents an inspiring educational initiative.

BINDT is the focal point of non-destructive testing (NDT) in the UK, and, in addition, is increasingly taking on a global perspective. The object of the Institute is to promote the advancement of the science and practice of NDT, condition monitoring (CM), structural health monitoring (SHM), diagnostic engineering and all other materials and quality testing disciplines. Membership is open to anyone or any company working in or having an interest in NDT, CM, SHM, or materials and quality testing in general.

BINDT has several special interest and user groups, including the Composites Group, the scope of which includes inspection and monitoring of all composites as implemented at manufacture, in-service or supporting repair, and in all industry sectors.
